So acid test begins folks...

Have to b on the fast track soon... With sir's tests up at high speed back on the charts... Music and maths have now made my ultimate night... Nice contrast na? N music meanin ntn away frm ilaiyaraja n arr melodies... N i mean melodies... So i hav the ideal nights made for me... N im bloggin fer a change today...
So im extremely happy that my first mission on a one on one with skool has been successful... Rather it was a certain thing to happen.. But i facilitated the process.. On thursday, seems the school teachers had not had a look at the panchangam, or the calender... I went with my so-called "attache" n told ls ma'am that there was a solar eclipse on monday... She was taken aback n said she'll talk to princi about it.. This is in the 2nd prd n in the 7th prd, MISSION SUCCESSFUL... The school was being delayed by 1 period... N i won three bets in the process.
Tomo is the quiz, n i have decided to bunk 4 periods, 2 for preparin n arrangin things, n 2 for the quiz itself... The prob is that ill miss pracs... chem prac that too...
Doesnt matter tho...
N something i've been ponderin about...
There r so many many beautiful songs in the Indian film industry... But most of them are romantic ones... Y is there a romantic theme in almost every movie we watch? In fact the no. of onscreen romances have definitely outnumbered the offscreen romances in a country like India.. There are so many beautiful themes, the most untouched being friendship... ,but romance is the most touched upon topic...
Not that I'm anti-romance... In fact I'm pro-romance... Jus a view, friends...
Shall post soon,
lots of luv,
gv

There's so much romance because people are all secretly dreaming of romance and the movies make them realise their dreams for a short period of time. Therefore Romance sells. The offbeat films like Water deal with romance but it isn't the focus of the movie - there's an underlying message being conveyed.( NB I too enjoy romance and this is a purely logical explanation ) By the way, You'll find this trend isn't restricted entirely to India .

i know man... dat is enjoyable... but it think movies have to b of more varities... for example, you take a movie around 40 years ago in india, one of probably raj kapoor or shivaji ganesan and u c dat tho in the society of those days arranged mariages were much more prevelant, romantic interludes are shown in every other movie which i think isn't sensible atleast in movies of those times...n yea infact i enjoy romance... but jus a feelin of frustration..
